1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Melonovo.com (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site.

2. Services Provided

Melonovo provides:

• Digital music tracks for licensing and download
• Composer edit services for licensed tracks
• Custom composition services upon inquiry

All services are subject to availability and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without prior notice.

3. Digital Products and Licensing

When you purchase a music track from Melonovo, you receive:

• A non-exclusive, worldwide license to use the music in your creative projects
• Instant download access to audio files (WAV and/or MP3 format)
• A license certificate via email with your name and track details

Full licensing terms are detailed in our License Agreement. By purchasing a track, you agree to those licensing terms.

4. Payment and Pricing

All prices are listed in USD. Payment is processed securely via Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards.

For buyers in Norway, 25% VAT will be applied at checkout. International buyers outside Norway are not charged VAT.

5. Refund Policy

All track purchases are final and non-refundable because digital files are delivered instantly upon purchase. We encourage you to preview tracks carefully before buying.

If you experience a technical issue (corrupt file, incorrect download, etc.), please contact us at hello@melonovo.com and we will resolve the issue promptly.

6. Intellectual Property

All music tracks, compositions, and content on Melonovo.com are the intellectual property of Melonovo and/or Ben Herland (the composer). Purchasing a license grants you usage rights as specified in the License Agreement but does not transfer ownership or copyright of the music.

The Melonovo brand, logo, website design, and all related materials are protected by copyright and trademark laws.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or disrupt the Site's functionality
• Redistribute, resell, or sublicense music tracks outside the scope of your license
• Claim ownership of any music or content provided by Melonovo
• Use music in AI training datasets or machine learning models

8. Limitation of Liability

Melonovo and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Site or services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of the Site shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant service.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Melonovo, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Site or violation of these Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be resolved in the courts of Norway.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.
